Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.
Pay rate: $16 – $19 an hour, dependent on experience.
1st shift – 7:00am to 3:30pm

What’s a typical day as an SMT Operator?
- Setting up, operating, and maintaining screen printers, glue machines, reflow ovens, SMT placement machines, stencil cleaners, conveyors, and other equipment used in the assembly of Printed Circuit Boards.
- Interfacing with complex machine hardware and software.
- Identifying and reporting defective components.
- Inspecting your own work to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Following written and verbal instructions and maintaining data logs.
- Ensuring that the product meets established workmanship standards.
- Maintaining cleanliness in your work area and surrounding workspace.
- Participating in quality teams as required.
- Training other employees as needed.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- Have at least 1 year of experience in SMT equipment operation.
- Are IPC-A-610 Certified (preferred).
- Have ESD Training.
- Have knowledge of component identification and nomenclature.
- Have knowledge of component handling, including ESD requirements.
- Possess basic computer skills, problem-solving, and workstation skills.
- Have good organizational skills.
- Can perform job functions utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions, and visual aids.
- Can work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
- Can prioritize and organize workload to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Have knowledge of ISO9001 and IPC-610 requirements.
- Are willing to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Are a US Person as defined in 22 CRF Part 120.15.
