Kelly Services is hiring a Wire Cutter Machine Operator for a well-established manufacturer and supplier of wire harnesses, cables, and custom components, proudly headquartered in Twinsburg since 1987.
Pay: $16/hour (Higher pay with setup experience)
Hours: 1st Shift 7a-3pm & 2nd shift 2p-10p – $1.00/hour more
Education, Training & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Skills Required
- Basic math proficiency
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and rulers
- Machine setup and operation
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Physical Demands
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, squat, stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
Key Responsibilities
- Follow directions from the Wire Cutting Supervisor
- Set up, operate, and maintain wire cutting equipment
- Perform daily micrometer calibrations
- Meet production goals and departmental objectives
- Understand and apply knowledge of wire harness
- Process and control wire cutting documentation accurately
- Ensure adherence to department policies and procedures
- Complete all required paperwork and follow documentation procedures
- Perform quality control checks to ensure high standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
