Patient Services Representative | Call Center (Remote After Training)
Our client in the healthcare industry is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join their team in Dallas, TX 75246. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering a clear path to full-time employment after the initial contract period.
Location: Dallas, TX 75246 (on-site for the first 2 weeks, then remote)
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Employment Type: Temp-to-hire (3–6 months contract to start)
Parking: Included
What You’ll Be Doing

Answer high-volume inbound calls and electronic requests from patients and families

Register new patients, verify insurance, and provide cost information

Schedule healthcare appointments based on patient need and physician orders

Communicate appointment prep instructions and payment expectations

Enter accurate data into the medical records system

Write and route messages to clinical or administrative staff

De-escalate tense calls and escalate urgent needs appropriately
Why You’d Be a Good Fit

You have call center or customer service experience, preferably in healthcare

You have a High School Diploma or equivalent
-
You’re comfortable with computers and can type quickly and accurately
-
You remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations

Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
-
Consistent job history is preferred; contract roles should be clearly labeled on your resume
