Patient Services Representative | Call Center (Remote After Training)

Our client in the healthcare industry is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join their team in Dallas, TX 75246. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering a clear path to full-time employment after the initial contract period.

Location: Dallas, TX 75246 (on-site for the first 2 weeks, then remote)
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Employment Type: Temp-to-hire (3–6 months contract to start)
Parking: Included


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Answer high-volume inbound calls and electronic requests from patients and families


  • Register new patients, verify insurance, and provide cost information


  • Schedule healthcare appointments based on patient need and physician orders


  • Communicate appointment prep instructions and payment expectations


  • Enter accurate data into the medical records system


  • Write and route messages to clinical or administrative staff


  • De-escalate tense calls and escalate urgent needs appropriately


Why You’d Be a Good Fit

  • You have call center or customer service experience, preferably in healthcare


  • You have a High School Diploma or equivalent


  • You’re comfortable with computers and can type quickly and accurately


  • You remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations


  • Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus


  • Consistent job history is preferred; contract roles should be clearly labeled on your resume
