Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer — Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Physics who are passionate about designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and assemblies.

  • Conduct engineering calculations and simulations to support product development.

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to solve technical challenges and deliver project milestones.

  • Create and interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and specifications.

  • Perform hands-on prototyping and build test rigs as needed.

  • Collect, organize, and analyze laboratory or field data for engineering projects.

  • Support documentation, reporting, and presentation of technical findings to team members.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Physics.

  • Basic understanding of mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, and fluid dynamics.

  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and engineering practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience or coursework in modeling, prototyping, or testing mechanical systems.

  • Knowledge of programming or data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python) is a plus.

  • Internship or project experience in a related field is beneficial.
