Kelly is seeking a driven Sales & Asset Disposition Specialist for a long-term opportunity in Houston, Texas! In this pivotal role, you’ll leverage your sales expertise to maximize value recovery through strategic negotiations, relationship building, and effective communication with stakeholders. Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales initiatives for surplus asset disposition (including sales, donation, and redeployment) in coordination with site focal points.

  • Prepare, negotiate, and manage surplus sales agreements, donation contracts, and related invoicing.

  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance, including DOA approvals and tax exemptions.

  • Develop and expand vendor relationships; negotiate new and existing scrap metal contracts to maximize competitive advantage.

  • Conduct competitive bidding processes for equipment, scrap metals, and other surplus materials.

  • Track and analyze benefit realization; maintain accessible records for the team.

  • Champion communication and change management efforts to strengthen stakeholder support.

  • Update and deliver training to site teams, promoting best practices and the latest tools.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities through collaboration with site teams.

  • Maintain global scorecards, ensuring alignment with governance and compliance standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven sales experience, especially in surplus asset sales or scrap metal contract negotiation.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; adept at building and maintaining strong professional relationships.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage projects across multiple global locations.

  • Self-starter mentality with initiative and enthusiasm for driving results.

  • Collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
