Job Title: Production Packer – Thermoforming Equipment
Location: Canandaigua, NY

Shift: A Shift – 1130PM – 8AM
Compensation: $19.02
 

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Production Packer to support our operations team. This role plays a critical part in the safe and efficient operation of thermoforming packaging equipment. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced production warehouse environment, feeding material into machines, inspecting products for defects, and packing finished goods in the correct configuration.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safely operate thermoforming packaging machinery on an as-needed basis.
  

• Perform routine packing and inspection of finished goods.
  

• Identify and report product quality deficiencies to the team lead.
  

• Perform basic troubleshooting, adjustments, and minor maintenance of packaging equipment.
  

• Assist coworkers and support team workflow as directed.
  

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  

• Ensure adequate packaging supplies (boxes, tape, etc.) are available at the workstation.
  

• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
  

• Prepare packaged goods for shipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and twisting
  

• Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Self-starter with the ability to resolve issues and adapt to change
  

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  

• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  

• Willingness to stay current with new technologies and processes
  

• Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is a plus
