Manufacturing Operator – Kelly, Logan, UT
Pay Rate: $17.60 – $18.40/hr.
Shifts:

  • Weekend Days: Fri-Sun, 6am-6:30pm

  • Nights: 7:30pm-6am (half-hour lunch)

Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery, assemble tubing and connectors, package, and inspect products according to company SOPs and WID’s.

  • Produce Bioprocess Containers in a regulated cleanroom environment, following blueprints and drawings for precise assembly and quality.

  • Utilize computers, calculators, measuring tools, assembly hand tools, container machinery, and pallet jacks.

  • Adhere strictly to safety requirements and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

  • Conduct mutual inspection with colleagues, record and report quality errors, and ensure all products meet standards.

  • Record tasks accurately in Production Control Documents (PCD).

  • Actively participate in Practical Process Improvements (PPI), Lean and 5S activities.

  • Assist with team training, mentoring, and collaborative process improvement.

  • Complete required training for skill development and meet production scheduling goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum age 18; High school diploma or equivalent.

  • At least 2 years’ production experience.

  • Good verbal/written communication skills; ability to read/understand instructions, blueprints, and numbers.

  • Basic math skills and measurement tool competency.

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capability.

  • Reliable record of following policies, meeting goals, and working as part of a team.

  • Ability to stand/move for up to 10 hours/day, infrequently lift up to 40 pounds, and perform repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling.

  • Comfortable wearing specific cleanroom gowning (gloves, shoes/coverings, hair/beard net, face cover, safety glasses) and no jewelry/makeup/fake nails allowed.

  • Familiarity with PPE and chemical hygiene (common chemicals: disinfecting agents, solvents, Isopropyl Alcohol 70%/99%).

Work Environment:

  • Cleanroom regulated at >30% humidity, 60º–70º temperature.

  • Ambient noise levels are present.
