Position Overview:
The Laboratory Assistant will perform essential laboratory support tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This part-time role is ideal for current students or recent graduates in biology, chemistry, or related sciences who are looking to gain experience in a professional biotech setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and sterilize laboratory glassware and equipment
  

• Operate autoclave and follow proper sterilization procedures
  

• Prepare media, buffers, and basic lab solutions as directed
  

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory spaces
  

• Provide general laboratory support to research staff as needed

Preferred (but not required) Qualifications:

• Previous laboratory experience (academic or industry)
  

• Familiarity with aseptic technique and common laboratory equipment

Required Qualifications/Education/Skills:

• Coursework or degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field (preferred)
  

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
  

• Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting

Compensation and Schedule:
