Forklift Operator
Forklift Operator opening in Ware, MA. If you’re passionate about logistics, teamwork, and efficiency, we want you on board.
Job Specifications
- Job Type: Full-Time
- 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday with occasional weekend work required
- Starting pay $20/hr
Roles and Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse forklifts safely and efficiently
- Handle, ship, receive, and store customer packaged/pre-packaged products
- Complete and submit paperwork accurately and on time
- Report damaged packages and non-conformances promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and dock areas
- Assist with various warehouse operations as needed
- Take product samples and report any contaminants
- Input data into the VMU system correctly
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Report incidents, injuries, and safety issues to management
- Display and promote Quantix values: Accountability, Caring, Courage, Dedication, Problem Solving, Teamwork
Qualifications & Skills
- 1+ year of sit-down propane forklift experience (certified license preferred)
- At least 6 months of recent daily forklift driving
- Valid state driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg for 15 minutes and move pallets up to 34 kg
- Ability to pass drug test, background check, and participate in e-verify
- No felony convictions in the past 7 years
- Drug and physical background screens will be completed prior to placement
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to talk, hear, sit, use hands, and manipulate keyboard
- Occasionally stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl
- Close vision required
