Packaging Associate – Overnight
Location: Canandaigua, NY
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Shift: Overnight (11:30 PM – 8:00 AM)
Pay Rate: $19.07/hour
We are seeking a reliable Packaging Associate to join our overnight production team in Canandaigua. This role involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, packing finished goods accurately, inspecting products for quality, and preparing items for shipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack finished products according to established configurations
- Inspect products to identify and report any defects
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation
- Assist with minor troubleshooting and adjustments on equipment
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies
- Prepare packaged products for shipping and distribution
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and twisting
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
- Basic troubleshooting skills preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings a plus
- Adaptable to changing processes and technologies
