Job Title: Regeneration /Plant Operator
Pay: $20 hr
Schedule: Rotating days and nights 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am (Dupont schedule)
Location: Baytown, TX 77523
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Regeneration Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing ion exchange resin, mobile equipment, and tanks to meet customer needs. The position involves handling chemicals (acids, bases, salts), performing equipment quality checks, and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare resin, mobile equipment, and ion exchange tanks for customer use.

Perform quality control checks to ensure all equipment meets operational standards.

Receive and inspect resin tanks or mobile equipment returned from customer sites.

Safely empty exhausted media from tanks and equipment and prepare for regeneration.

Refill tanks and equipment with regenerated media.

Assist with repair and maintenance of bottles, tanks, and related service equipment.

Follow all Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures and policies.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Prior experience in industrial, chemical, or water treatment environments is a plus.

Comfortable handling chemicals and working in a hands-on, physical role.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

Ability to follow procedures and work both independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and move equipment or materials (up to [insert weight, e.g. 50 lbs]) regularly.

Standing, walking, bending, and manual handling required throughout the shift.

Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed when working with chemicals.
