Position: General Warehouse Person
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday
- Start Time: 6:00 AM
- Shift Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay rate: $18/HR
Summary:
The General Warehouse Person is responsible for processing and shipping customer orders. This role involves receiving, scanning, picking, packing, auditing, and shipping merchandise, as well as maintaining inventory accountability and a clean work environment.
Job Responsibilities
Listed in order of importance and/or time spent:
- Receive, scan, pick, pack, audit, and ship merchandise to customers
- Track all inbound and outbound items using radio frequency (RF) scanning for inventory accountability
- Verify orders and enter information into the inventory management system
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment, free of debris
- Uphold quality standards set by warehouse management
Basic Qualifications (External)
- Willing to work a flexible shift
- Able to stand for at least 8 hours (with or without reasonable accommodation)
- Able to push, pull, grasp, and lift (with or without reasonable accommodation)
- Able to carry up to 50 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center
- Minimum 6 months experience operating motorized material handling equipment
- Minimum 6 months experience with RF scanning
- Minimum 6 months experience entering and retrieving data in inventory systems
