Project Delivery Manager – Large Industrial Generators
Are you passionate about leading complex projects from kickoff to commissioning? Join us as a Project Delivery Manager, overseeing technical delivery for large industrial generators in cutting-edge data centers and critical infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning Leadership: Lead all commissioning phases (L1–L6), ensuring successful project startup, integration, and handover.
- Project Scope & Planning: Define deliverables, manage changes, and develop actionable project plans with clear timelines, resource allocation, and risk strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams—ensuring transparency, timely updates, and alignment on goals.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate closely with cross-functional departments (Sales, Engineering, Operations, Service) to meet project milestones.
- Budget & Resource Management: Oversee budgets, control costs, allocate resources efficiently, and forecast project spending.
- Risk & Issue Management: Anticipate risks, resolve onsite quality issues, and proactively address challenges to keep projects on track.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement best practices in project execution.
- Onsite Leadership: Provide hands-on supervision and technical support during critical project phases, including equipment rigging, startup, testing, and commissioning.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 7+ years related experience.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or similar Project Management certification.
- 3+ years in project management within a technical, engineering, or product development setting.
- Proven ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong knowledge of power generation systems (paralleling, load banks, switchgear, UPS, ATS), generator sizing, and Tier compliance.
- Ability to interpret technical docs, wiring diagrams, and engineering schematics.
- Familiarity with MEP systems, commissioning processes (L1-L6), permitting, and construction practices.
- Awareness of relevant codes and standards: NEC, NFPA 110, UL, IEEE, ISO, and environmental regulations.
- Proficient with Salesforce and SAP.
- Excellent communicator—clear, professional, and adept at presenting complex information.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple, diverse technical projects.
- Willing to travel frequently and work outside typical hours during critical project phases.
