Job Title: General Laborer – Casting Department (2 Positions Available)
Location: Cortland, NY
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday–Friday) Temp role
Start Date: ASAP
Job Description:
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers to join a Casting Department immediately. This is a hands-on role that involves basic labor tasks including working with molds and bracing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use power tools to attach and remove bracing from molds
- Assist with pouring refractory material into molds
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Support team with other duties as needed in the casting department
Requirements:
- Ability to start immediately
- Previous labor or manufacturing experience preferred
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Physically able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and good attendance
Compensation & Schedule:
- Pay: $20/hour
- Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- Overtime may be available depending on workload
