SOLIDWORKS DESIGNER
- Using SolidWorks, design plastic / thermoformed dunnage racks.
- Responsible for using software to build custom designs that meet customer requirements and specifications.
- Address limitations of technologies and materials involved in the CAD process and incorporate feedback into 3D model designs
- Makes design revisions as requested
- Assess CAD designs for the ability to form correctly and not fail under load
- Work with members of the tooling, production, sales, and other departments as necessary
- Understanding thermoforming characteristics such as shrink
Qualifications:
- 2+ year degree in related field or Bachelors degree preferred
- 2+ years experience utilizing SolidWorks CAD
- Knowledge of production tools and equipment
- Thermoforming process and equipment preferred
