Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    •  


  • Operates and or assists with running machines in the Coiling department.

  • Ability to use gauges to measure inner (ID) or outer (OD) diameter.

  • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the set-up man or lead man.

  • Soldering of core and re-work of product when needed.

  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

  • Must be able to perform but not limited to the following tasks: repetitive hand movements, bending/twisting conduit, lift/carry/move/push/pull material 10 – 75lbs

  • Ability to break/cut and trim ends of conduit with cutting tool.

  • Standing for long periods of time

  • Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks stated above.

  • Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up.

  • Able to work overtime.

  • Observe safety regulations and follow company policies.

  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.

  • Able to operate the time and attendance system.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

  • Good command of the English language is beneficial for advancement.

  • Must be able to read, use simple math, and use basic handheld measuring tools.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to plant environment to include moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles.  Safety glasses, gloves and steel-toed shoes, long pants and shirt must be worn at all times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
