Pay Rate: $25.00 – $27.50/hour
Location: Rockville, MD (Onsite)
Duration: 12-month contract (possibility of extension)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role
We’re seeking a Production Technician (Associate Specialist – Cell Therapy Manufacturing) to support the start-up and GMP operations of a state-of-the-art cell therapy manufacturing facility. You’ll be part of a team producing cutting-edge clinical products that will drive the next generation of medicine.
This is an excellent opportunity for recent life sciences graduates or early-career professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in a GMP-regulated, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Execute and document manufacturing batch records, SOPs, and work instructions

Operate automated cell processing, expansion, and filling equipment in Grades A/B cleanroom

Support tech transfer and process development activities

Assist with deviation investigations, documentation review, and compliance tasks

Train team members on aseptic techniques, equipment operation, and GMP practices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Process Development, QA, Clinical Ops, etc.)

Ensure a safe and compliant work environment
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, engineering, or related field

0–3 years (BS) or 0–2 years (MS) of cGMP manufacturing experience

Familiarity with biologics, cell culture, or vector-based products

Strong aseptic technique and cleanroom experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic data analysis
Preferred Skills

Experience in cell therapy or viral vector manufacturing

Familiarity with automated systems and process analytical technologies

Ability to work independently, multitask, and adapt in a dynamic environment

Strong communication and documentation skills
