We’re currently hiring for a Bilingual HR Assistant role in Council Bluffs, IA (51501). This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced HR team, supporting staffing, onboarding, compliance, and employee engagement programs. If you have experience in HR support, are fluent in Spanish (written and verbal), and have strong organizational skills, we’d love to hear from you.
HR Assistant (Bilingual)
Location: Council Bluffs, IA 51501
Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon–Fri
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
Essential Job Functions & Must-Haves:

Provide administrative and operational support in HR areas including staffing, onboarding, compliance, and HR systems.

Assist with Spanish translations (verbal and written).

Answer employee questions about policies, benefits, and procedures.

Schedule interviews, coordinate pre-employment screenings, and prepare onboarding/new hire documentation.

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (digital and physical).

Support HR-led initiatives such as surveys, engagement, and recognition events.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (Workday, Kronos, SAP preferred).

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
