Position Overview

The Inventory Control Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. Working closely with the Director of Merchandising, this position supports purchasing, forecasting, and warehouse performance goals. The role requires a collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance multiple responsibilities across inventory and warehouse initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct, document, and reconcile cycle counts and bin audits across all warehouse zones.

  
  

• Execute and track warehouse transfers, inter-location replenishment, and cross-dock updates.

  
  

• Partner with the Reverse Logistics Supervisor on the disposition of damaged, scrap, and returned items.

  
  

• Develop replenishment suggestions, monitor inventory levels, and communicate overstock/understock risks.

  
  

• Coordinate with Finance on inventory adjustments and shrink reporting.

  
  

• Review inventory turns and safety stock, recommending improvements as needed.

  
  

• Enhance alert notifications for internal and external inventory updates.

  
  

• Support forecasting and backorder analysis with the Director of Merchandising, CFO, and Purchasing team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse logistics, or related operations.

  
  

• Strong knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (P21 and WWMS preferred).

  
  

• Proven experience leading cycle count programs and performing reconciliations.

  
  

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

  
  

• Ability to lift at least 15 lbs and work at a computer for extended periods.
