Job Title: Sorter/Material Handler
Location: Hazelwood, MO
Pay Rate: $18 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sorter/Material Handler to join our team in Hazelwood, MO. The Sorter/Material Handler is responsible for sorting, organizing, and moving various materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and organize incoming and outgoing materials according to company procedures
- Move, load, and unload materials safely throughout the facility
- Inspect materials for quality and report any discrepancies or damaged items
- Maintain inventory records and update system as required
- Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to support daily operations
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, sorting, or material handling experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic computer skills are a plus
- Commitment to workplace safety
