Job Title: Assembly Worker – Hydraulic Assembly
Pay: 25 hr
Schedule: Mon-Fri 6am-3pm
Location: Houston, TX 77073
Position Summary:
Responsible for the mechanical assembly of hydraulic systems and components. This includes pump-motor groups, valve manifolds, filters, reservoirs, hoses, and tubing. Experience with hydraulic systems is a strong plus but not required.
Essential Functions:

Assemble hydraulic components and systems, including pump-motor units, valve manifolds, filters, and reservoirs.

Use hand tools (e.g., wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, taps) and power tools (e.g., drills, grinders, portable bandsaws).

Operate stationary tools (e.g., floor drills, bench grinders, cut-off saws, hose crimpers).

Safely use overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts for assembly and material handling.

Read and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and installation instructions.

Route and install hydraulic hoses, tubing, and fittings according to schematics.

Perform simple electrical wiring and routing per diagrams or schematics.

Maintain compliance with company safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

Keep work area clean and organized.

Adhere to all company policies and code of conduct.
Additional Duties:
-
Fabricate small brackets or assemblies; minimal welding may be required.

Provide support to other locations or branches as needed.
Qualifications:
Education:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent; Vocational/Technical training is a plus.
Experience:
-
3+ years of related mechanical assembly experience.
-
Hydraulic assembly experience preferred but not required.
Skills & Abilities:
-
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, schematics, and safety documentation.

Proficient with hand and power tools.
-
Willingness to learn welding and other skills on the job as needed.
Certifications/Licenses:
-
None required.
Physical Demands:
-
Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs.

Constant standing, walking, reaching, and handling small components.
-
Occasional bending, kneeling, climbing, or crawling.

Use of overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts.
Work Environment:
-
Primarily indoor, non-climate-controlled environment.

Exposure to typical industrial hazards (noise, machinery, manual handling).
