Direct Hire | 100% remote role with travel position
Kelly Engineering seeks a skilled CNC Field Service Technician to join our client’s team. In this role, the Service Technician installs, troubleshoots, and repairs the company’s CNC Machines.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain professional communication with clients.
- Diagnose and repair equipment in collaboration with the internal/external team members.
- Utilize visual inspection, diagnostic software, and electronic tools to troubleshoot issues.
- Read and interpret repair manuals, schematics, and work orders to guide repairs.
- Clean, replace, install, and align machine components to ensure optimal performance.
- Accurately document and report machine conditions, repairs, and service details.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including applications, sales, engineering, and production.
- Provide on-site customer training for machine operation and maintenance.
- Support and assist other Field Service Engineers as needed.
- Participate in ongoing factory training and contribute to improving technical documentation.
- Work independently while adhering to all company and safety standards.
- Travel up to 100% (regional and national).
Qualifications / Experience
- Strong electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing complex machinery or automated equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, schematics, and service manuals.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong reporting and documentation abilities.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs without assistance.
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
Pay
- Targeting $34 – $36/hr depending upon qualification, with some flexibility for well-qualified candidates
