Job Title: Light Assembly Worker
Location: Johns Creek, GA
Position Type: Temp to Hire
Schedule: 1st Shift 6AM-2:30PM, 2nd Shift 3PM-11:30PM
Pay Rate: 1st Shift $16.75, 2nd Shift $19.26
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Light Assembly Worker to join our team for the assembly of medical device kits. The ideal candidate will perform all aspects of the assembly process, ensuring each product meets strict quality and regulatory standards. This is a growth-focused opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble medical device kits in accordance with BSC and GMP procedures.
- Adhere to product specifications, ensuring each kit meets quality standards.
- Prepare necessary documentation, such as log sheets and order specifications.
- Inspect, print, and apply labels accurately.
- Always maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Consistently execute repetitive tasks (bending, lifting, twisting, wrapping, pulling, pushing) during your shift.
- Accurately pick, pack, label, and seal packages, including handling small components with dexterity.
- Support continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives with team members.
- Comply with all regulatory, Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), ISO 14001, and BSC standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to stand for 8 hours or more and repeatedly perform physical tasks.
- Manual dexterity: Proficient with both hands for intricate assembly tasks.
- Basic computer skills, including using a mouse and keyboard.
- Proficiency in English; able to communicate effectively to resolve issues and contribute to team objectives.
- Ability to lift to 25 lbs as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience (1 year) in assembly line, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards.
- Prior involvement in medical devices or kit assembly is a plus.
