Mental Health Aide – Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (RRTP)

Kelly Government Solutions is urgently hiring Mental Health Aides for immediate placement at the Sam Rayburn VA Medical Center in Bonham, TX. If you’re compassionate, efficient, and eager to support Veterans in their recovery, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Support Veterans in a structured, therapeutic residential setting

  • Monitor resident safety, perform rounding, and document status

  • Report changes to clinical staff and assist with resident intake/discharge

  • Lead or assist in group therapy and recreational activities

  • Maintain unit organization and infection control standards

  • Work closely with nursing and behavioral health teams

Positions are FULL-TIME (40 hours/week) with schedules:

  • Overnight (Sun–Thurs): 11:30 PM – 8:00 AM

  • Day/Evening (Tues–Sat): 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

  • Weekend and holiday shifts required

What You Need:

  • High school diploma

  • Willingness to obtain BLS certification after hire

  • Ability to communicate, follow protocols, and complete training

  • References (including one supervisor).

  • Bilingual and prior patient experience a plus!
