For those looking to grow and evolve, Kelly® is here for you! We’re seeking a Set Up Technician to work at BIC in Charlotte, NC.
Hours and Pay Rate:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday – $24.48/hr
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday – Friday – $24.78/hr
- Must be able to work overtime/weekends.
Typical Day:
- Setting up and operating blister-forming packaging machines, shrink wrapping equipment, and pouch machines.
- Performing changeovers to tooling, conveyors, and carton taping equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Troubleshooting and repairing forming, sealing, jamming, quality, and minor mechanical issues to maintain production flow.
You Might Be a Fit If You:
- Have a High School Diploma/GED; a technical certificate or education is a plus.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and can work effectively in a team environment.
- Are available for overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed, demonstrating a strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
- Have the ability to troubleshoot and repair technical issues on production machines and equipment.
- Have previous work experience in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing setting.
- Are comfortable using basic computer programs and systems.
- Can stand for 8+ hours a day and lift boxes and products weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Display a strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
