- Pay: $22/hour
Job responsibilities:
- Understand and read work instructions, blueprint symbols, AQL levels, specifications, procedures, and the ability to inspect small to large pieces to drawing / blueprint.
- Be proficient in working with common mechanical measurement tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, gauge blocks, gage pins, optical comparators, rulers, calipers, some automated inspection systems (Micro-View), and other electronic inspection equipment (training will be provided).
- Be able to perform visual inspection with unaided eyes or with visual aids such as magnifiers & microscopes.
- Be able to perform dimensional inspections at various stages of production process and compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of product and ensure that in-process and final inspection reports are properly completed.
- Be able to perform inspections in a thorough & timely manner and in accordance with the guidelines set for each part.
- After a period of supervised training, candidate should be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Be able to accept or reject products based on inspection results.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Have excellent written and verbal skills to report inspection results and test data.
- Have good computer skills and be capable of using Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and other applications as necessary.
