Position Overview
Join our team as a Production Manual Assembler, where you’ll play a vital role in assembling electronic components, wires, and cables according to blueprints and schematics. You’ll use hand tools, perform quality checks, and help maintain a safe, organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly: Perform manual and machine-assisted assembly of electronic components, subassemblies, and wire harnesses.
- Reading Instructions: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and production documents to ensure accurate assembly.
- Quality Control: Conduct inspections and electrical testing to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Material Handling: Position and align parts; use hand trucks to transport materials and finished products.
- Maintenance: Clean and maintain work areas; perform basic equipment troubleshooting or preventive maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend English instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
- Experience in hand-assembling small parts; electronics assembly experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
Other Requirements
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, as needed.
- 1st and 2nd shifts available
- M-F; 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- M-F 3 p.m. – 11 p.m.
