Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer
Our client is seeking a manufacturing/Industrial Engineer for a contract to perm opportunity in the Winchester, TN area. Those with 2-5 years experience in manufacturing setting is required. Knowledge with fixture design, CAPEX, and production output improvement process is highly desired but willing to train as you go.
- Work with management on manufacturing methods and processes, facility related energy and cost savings, and plant engineering activities.
- Solid understanding of time studies and capacity planning.
- Investigate, establish, and implement requirements for methods of production: time studies; capacity planning; manpower planning; routings; part structures.
- Determine best utilization of equipment, facilities, material flow, and personnel.
- Review engineering design changes and recommend modifications to minimize cost and maximize performance.
- Implement and maintain safety standards and procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Possess strong attention to detail skills.
- Possess ability to adapt to changes.
