Assembly / Warehouse Associate (Food Manufacturing) – 12-Hour Shifts

Pay: $15.00–$16.00/hr
Location: Chicago Heights area, IL
Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire (Kelly Services | 3–6 months with opportunity to hire on)
Shift Options: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM OR 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Schedule: Mon–Thu (12-hour shifts) + Fri/Sat overtime as needed
Start: ASAP (once requirements are completed)

From the desk of your recruiter: This is high-output food manufacturing (pizza/dough production). The pace is nonstop and expectations are tight. If you show up early, follow GMP rules, and learn fast, you can do well here.

What You’ll Do
• Pack and stage food-grade product (dough) into drums/containers; wrap to spec
• Move product consistently throughout the shift (lifting, staging, palletizing)
• Follow GMP and food-safety rules 100% of the time
• Keep area clean, organized, and production-ready

What I’m Looking For (Apply Only If You Meet These)
6 months–1+ year warehouse/manufacturing experience (food preferred)
• Comfortable with continuous, repetitive work and standing the full shift
• Able to lift/handle product frequently (heavy, awkward loads)
• Strong attendance (arrive early—aim for 10 minutes early)

What You Need to Be Ready For
Cold environment (can feel down to ~30°F at times)
Steel-toe boots required daily
Strict GMP dress code: no hoods/hoodies, jewelry, false lashes/extensions, false nails/nail polish, shorts, collared button-downs, shirts with pockets, V-necks, leggings, tank tops, sleeveless shirts

Pre-Hire Requirements (Must Be Completed)

Screenings (required before hire):
• Social Security verification
• County criminal background check
• I-9 verification (identity/work authorization documents)

Scheduled Onsite Step (required before hire):
• GMP training video + 10-panel drug swab (NO THC)
• Time needed: ~40 minutes total

Timing note: Background clearance typically takes 2–7 business days.
