Document Quality Control Specialist:
2nd Shift: – Kelly Services | Grimes, IA
Location: Grimes, IA
Pay Rate: $22.41/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 1p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Overtime: Some OT, 2 days per week as needed
Assignment Type: Temporary | Through March 30th

Position Overview
Kelly Services is hiring Document Quality Control Specialist to join a leading medical device manufacturer in Grimes, IA. This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality, compliance, and accuracy of documentation related to surgical tools and equipment sterilization records.

Key Responsibilities
- Review, inspect, and verify product and sterilization records for accuracy and compliance.
- Confirm proper sealing, equipment settings, and documentation according to quality standards.
- Provide coaching and feedback to assembly teams to correct records and prevent future errors.
- Communicate effectively with site leaders and cross-functional departments.
- Initiate and review nonconformance reports; support continuous improvement.
- Utilize Excel for record tracking and visual organization (e.g., color-coded cell updates).
- Send professional emails to report findings or corrections.
- Maintain compliance with company Quality Policy, Mission Statement, and ISO standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a quality or inspection-related role.
- Comfortable with computers and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Strong judgment, professionalism, and ability to work independently.
Work Environment
- Temperature-controlled facility.
- Combination of office and production floor work (mobile workstation provided).
- Light physical requirements (lifting up to 10 lbs).
- Café, fridge, microwave, and lockers available on site.
Dress Code
- No perfumes, lotions, oils, powders, jewelry, fake nails, or eyelashes.
- Business casual attire, with scrubs available daily for use on the production floor.
- Closed-toe and closed-back shoes required.
- Cell phones must remain in the quality office.
Training
- 2 weeks of instructor-led and peer-guided training on procedures and systems.
