Job Title: Injection Molding Lead – 2nd Shift
Location: Earth City, MO
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00pm – 6:00am (48 hours/week; Fridays off)

Position Overview

Kelly Services is hiring an experienced Injection Molding Lead for a manufacturing client located in Earth City, MO. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting injection molding operations, leading production team members on the floor, and ensuring quality, safety, and production goals are consistently met. The ideal candidate will have strong technical injection molding experience along with prior lead or senior-level manufacturing experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support injection molding operators and assemblers during 2nd shift operations

  
  

• Monitor production processes, troubleshoot equipment or molding issues, and optimize performance

  
  

• Ensure parts are produced according to blueprints, engineering specifications, and work instructions

  
  

• Perform quality inspections to verify accuracy and compliance with specifications

  
  

• Support material flow and feeding systems to maintain continuous production

  
  

• Enforce safety protocols, including PPE requirements and proper equipment use

  
  

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations

  
  

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals

Qualifications

• Prior experience in an injection molding manufacturing environment required

  
  

• Lead, senior operator, or supervisory experience preferred

  
  

• Strong knowledge of thermoplastic molding processes, hand tools, and production equipment

  
  

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and equipment manuals

  
  

• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

  
  

• Ability to work 2nd shift hours (Monday–Thursday, 6:00pm–6:00am)
