Forklift Operator – Warehouse & Logistics
Location: Pooler, GA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift
Pay: $17.50 – $18.50 per hour
About the Role
Join our dynamic warehouse team in Pooler, GA as a Forklift Operator! In this role, you’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently moving goods throughout our busy facility. If you’re detail-oriented, safety-driven, and have forklift experience, this is a great opportunity to grow your logistics career with competitive pay and steady hours.
Main Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods from containers and trailers
- Safely transport goods on pallets or in crates throughout the facility
- Stack goods accurately according to inventory control guidelines
- Secure loads to ensure safety during transport
- Organize and stack empty pallets efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance (recharging, changing propane tanks)
- Remove attachments and dispose of machinery waste materials
- Inspect products to meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Solid math, language, and reading skills
- Strong attention to detail to ensure safety and product quality
- Ability to follow equipment operating instructions and maintain accurate records
- Execute tasks safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner
- OSHA-compliant forklift certification required
- 1+ years of forklift operation experience preferred
