Now Hiring: Material Handler & Scanner (Pick & Pack / Returns Processor)
? Location: Modesto, CA
? Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (some schedules may include weekends)`qZS
? Duration: 3-month contract
? Type: Contract / Temporary
? Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Material Handlers and Scanners to support warehouse returns operations in Modesto, CA. This role involves loading, unloading, scanning, and processing returned merchandise while following safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products

Pick, pack, and prepare items for scanning

Verify items are in original packaging prior to processing

Accurately scan and process freight using warehouse scanning systems

Identify and separate items requiring special handling (hazardous materials, salvage, research, store services, etc.)

Ensure scanned freight reaches the correct destination (slotting, destroy, salvage)

Stack and tape pallets safely and correctly
-
Follow all safety, sanitation, and warehouse procedures

Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift

Attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines

Prior warehouse or scanning experience is a plus, but not required
