2-Month Assignment Located in Brewster NY
We are hiring 3 Shipping Clerk for a short-term at Stanley Black & Decker, 2-month warehouse assignment.
Schedule:
1st Shift — Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
Pay Rate:
$16.00 – Paid Weekly

Shipping/Receiving Worker (Shipping Clerk)
We are seeking a reliable Shipping/Receiving Worker to support daily warehouse operations. This role involves picking and preparing orders for shipment using handheld scan guns, identifying parts from inventory, and following all safety and standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Pick and pack orders for shipment using handheld scanners

Prepare items for shipping and support loading trucks
-
Follow safety procedures and use required PPE
-
Perform accurate data entry and error-free transactions

Assist with inventory, transfers, restocking, and cycle counts

Participate in continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications:
-
Previous shipping or warehouse experience preferred
-
Forklift experience (stand-up/Raymond trucks a plus)

Basic math and computer skills

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (assistance provided when needed)
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience with WMS systems
-
Knowledge of HazMat labeling and export order
