Job Title: Bottle Line Quality Control Specialist
Location: Savannah
Pay: $17 per hour
Shift: 2nd shift – Start time is 4:30 PM (expect to work 10-12 hour shifts)
Job Summary:
The Bottle Line Quality Control Specialist is responsible for checking each completed box of individual bottles picked by Bottle Line Associates. This role audits each box to verify the correct number of bottles and product types per customer order and responds as needed. The specialist maintains safety, sanitation, and security within the logistics environment, handles all materials per company policies, and may be asked to assist with other warehouse functions such as inventory control, case line picking, transfer assistance, and non-standard order picking.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect each completed box of split bottle orders for accuracy.
- Ensure correct bottle count and product type for every order.
- Close out accurate boxes and release them onto the conveyor for loading.
- Communicate corrections over the intercom if errors are found.
- Keep records to provide feedback to error-prone zones.
- Assist with physical inventories as needed.
- Report safety or equipment concerns in writing.
- Operate all equipment safely and efficiently.
- Keep the facility clean, orderly, and safe.
- Help maintain security within the logistics area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma, vocational school diploma, or GED required
- Six months of related experience preferred
- Experience operating forklifts and power equipment preferred
Critical Skills:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
- Willingness to learn company technology and products
- Comfortable with computerized hand-held devices
- Experience with inventory and quality control preferred
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to maintain high standards in a non-temperature-controlled environment, which may include heat, humidity, and inclement weather.
- Occasional work in refrigerated environments required.
- Exposure to moderate to loud noise, some dust, and power equipment fumes.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent operation of pallet jacks and/or forklifts
- Able to stand, walk, reach, lift, and carry throughout the shift
- Able to stack and relocate large quantities of product daily
- Capable of heavy lifting (50–65 lbs), including some overhead lifting
- Must have good vision (close, distance, and depth perception)
