Role Summary
As an Operator Assistant / Production Support team member, you help machine operators and production staff keep corrugated packaging manufacturing running smoothly by assisting in setup, handling materials, and maintaining production quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist machine operators with setup of corrugated manufacturing machinery and ensure all tools/materials are ready.
- Handle and transport materials within the production area and support load/unload operations.
- Follow instructions from machine operators and perform delegated tasks safely.
- Check products for quality and notify operators of defects or issues.
- Communicate with team members to keep production workflow efficient and coordinated.
- Be open to learning manufacturing processes and gaining new skills over time.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to ~25 lbs alone and up to 50 lbs assisted.
- Basic reading, math, and tape measure skills; basic computer knowledge.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing/production environment and follow safety protocols.
- Comfortable with repetitive motion tasks and physical activity.
