Pay Rate: $20/hour
Shift: A – 5:45am to 6:00pm
Description:
Kelly is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Manufacturing Operators in Skaneateles, NY. In this role, you’ll play an important part in our production process, focusing on packing blood pressure cuffs as they come off our automated machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set-up, adjust, and perform minor repairs on complex production equipment
- Operate or monitor various machines, ensuring smooth and efficient production
- Perform measurements, die adjustments, screening, and visual inspections
- Clean equipment and maintain a tidy work area
- Label, bag, and tag rolls, palletize products, and use batch trace
- Wrap and move finished products
- Monitor the production process, complete changeovers, and update batch boards
- Discard scrap material as needed
- Create, maintain, and verify documentation
- Handle additional responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Basic computer and math skills
- Ability to read and understand job instructions
- Basic knowledge of tools
- Legible handwriting and use of a numbering system
- Commitment to safety and ability to follow all safety rules
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and cover various shifts
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Industrial/Mechanical experience and knowledge of extrusion preferred
- Physical ability to walk, lift at least 35 lbs., lift above head, bend, twist, push, stretch, squat, pull, reach, stand, climb, and carry
- Ability to work around heat and fumes
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Use of hands and fingers to manipulate office equipment
