Join our dynamic Production Operations team and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials between facilities.
This is an 100% onsite position in Edgewood, NY (Long Island)
Job Specifics:
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM w/benefits
- Compensation: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour + Annual Bonus
Responsibilities:
- Manage equipment and trailers in the yard.
- Move trailers in and out of bays.
- Ensure steady flow of material between facilities, meeting SLAs.
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Assist logistics with trailer moves.
- Move equipment between warehouses.
- Off-load trailers and scan material.
- Remove and replace recycle trailers.
- Maintain yard horses and ensure they are fueled.
- Load broken equipment into trailers.
- Train new drivers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in a fulfillment operation or related environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in English (Spanish communication skills a plus).
- 3+ years of commercial driving experience.
- Valid certified Forklift or Power Jack License.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Valid CDL required.
