Join our dynamic team as an Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist! Located in a thriving corporate environment, this full-time position offers you the chance to play a crucial role in our Corporate Tax Department. You will perform essential data entry tasks, process billing and payroll transactions, and contribute to tax planning projects. If you have a knack for quantitative analysis and strong MS Excel skills, we want to hear from you!
Job Specifications:
– Job Type: Full-Time
– Location: Portage, MI – Onsite
– Pay Rate: $21.43 per hour
– Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
– Duration: 6 months
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Perform data entry related to accounts payable and receivable.
– Review and process billing and payroll transactions.
– Code invoices to appropriate accounts.
– Prepare periodic reconciliation reports.
– Post cash receipts accurately.
– Assist with general bookkeeping tasks as assigned.
– Collaborate with the Corporate Tax Department to assist in the tax return process.
– Support tax planning projects as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
– Strong aptitude for accounts receivable and payable.
– Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant software.
– Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
– Excellent organizational and time management skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
