Now Hiring: Bottle Quality Control Specialist / Warehouse Inspector / Quality Assurance Auditor
Location: Savannah, GA
Pay Rate: $17/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:30 pm start, 8–12 hour shifts
Job Description:
Seeking an assertive, detail-oriented Bottle Quality Control Specialist for immediate hire in Savannah, GA. If you have experience in warehouse, quality assurance, or inventory control, this full-time position offers growth in beverage distribution and logistics. The main duties include inspecting bottle pallets for errors, correcting issues, documenting quality checks, tracking inventory, and ensuring safety and sanitation throughout the facility. You will also assist with inventory management, shipping and receiving, returns, and other warehouse operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect bottle pallets for accuracy, damage, or order errors

  • Correct picking, stacking, and labeling mistakes as found

  • Document error corrections, complete quality reports, and track accuracy

  • Perform routine equipment and safety checklists; report problems or damages

  • Operate warehouse equipment: electric pallet jack (EPJ), pallet jack, forklift (if certified)

  • Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counting, audits, and returns

  • Ensure proper cleaning, safety, and security standards in the warehouse

  • Support shipping, receiving, logistics operations, and contribute to a team environment

  • Cross-train and fill in other warehouse roles as needed

  • Communicate clearly with team members and management

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Minimum 6 months warehouse, picker/packer, inspector, or auditor experience preferred

  • Ability to operate or learn EPJ, pallet jack, forklift, and warehouse management systems (WMS)

  • High school diploma, GED, or vocational equivalent preferred

  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to follow safety procedures

Skills & Competencies:

  • Quality assurance, warehouse inspection, bottle handling

  • Communication, teamwork, and adaptability

  • Inventory control and warehouse organization

  • Problem-solving, documentation, and reporting accuracy

  • Technologically adept—scanners, WMS, and handheld devices

  • Basic math and fast learning of products/requirements

Warehouse Conditions:

  • Non-temperature-controlled environment (heat, humidity, weather exposure)

  • Occasional work in refrigerated or cold storage areas

  • Moderate to loud noise, dust, and equipment fumes

Physical Requirements:

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, lift, carry, handle bottles/cases throughout your shift

  • Lift 50–65 lbs regularly, including some overhead lifting

  • Must have close and distance vision and depth perception
