Work Arrangement: 100% Remote (Onshore Only)

Looking for a fully remote accounting role where you can apply your technical skills while supporting core financial operations? As an Accountant II, you’ll play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting cycles, and contributing to a collaborative finance team.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be responsible for analyzing financial data, supporting month-end and quarter-end processes, and ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial reporting activities.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Analyzing financial data and preparing accurate financial statements, reports, and records
- Maintaining documentation related to assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other financial transactions
- Supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and reporting requirements
- Preparing and reviewing tax filings and supporting audit activities as required
What You Bring to the Team
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–4 years of professional accounting experience
- Strong understanding of standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Knowledge of Canadian tax regulations and reporting standards
- Industry accounting experience
