Job Posting: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift
Location:
Baxter Springs, KS
Pay Range:
$30.00 – $33.50 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (2nd Shift)
Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dependable Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our Baxter Springs team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of industrial equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations during the 2nd shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive/predictive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic production equipment.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Complete work orders and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, technical documentation, blueprints, and schematics.
- Support machine set-up and changeover; assist in equipment upgrades and installations.
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment, following all safety and company policies.
- Participate in safety programs, improvement initiatives, and technical training as required.
- Assist and collaborate with other maintenance and production team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role (multi-craft environment strongly preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, diagnostic instruments, PLC troubleshooting, and industrial wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safe work practices and reliability.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel, crawl, and lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly. Visual acuity to diagnose issues and make detailed repairs is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
