$21.62 – $27.02 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary
Kelly Services is seeking a 3rd Shift Machinist to set up and operate CNC production machines in a manufacturing environment. This role involves producing precision parts by working from blueprints, sketches, and route sheets while supporting lean manufacturing initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate one or more CNC production machines

Perform machining operations such as cutting, shaping, deburring, forming, drilling, and reaming
-
Conduct secondary operations including tapping, spot-facing, chamfering, countersinking, and counterboring to close tolerances

Adjust feeds, speeds, and depth of cut to ensure quality parts per documentation

Perform rework as required
-
Accurately complete Statistical Process Control (SPC) checks per requirements

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Follow all safety policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent (Machinist Certificate preferred)
-
1–3 years of related machining experience preferred
-
Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics, including basic trigonometry

CNC and/or manual machining experience
-
Experience setting up machines and making tool/work offsets
-
Ability to read and edit G/M-code (FANUC control experience a plus)

Proficiency using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges
