Join the Kelly® Professional & Industrial team as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) with the Arizona Barbering and Cosmetology Board (AZBCB), where your talent for client support helps advance the community’s quality standards.

- Pay Rate: $17 per hour
- Location: Phoenix, AZ 85007 (Hybrid – must be in-office first week)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Employment: 4-month contract
- Remote/Hybrid: Candidate must be in-office for the first week for training, then 1-2 days per week in person.
What’s a typical day as a Customer Service Representative? You will:
- Answer and manage incoming calls to the AZBCB.
- Provide accurate, helpful information about licensing, payments, rules, and compliance.
- Apply de-escalation techniques and resolve customer issues professionally.
- Enter customer information accurately into CRM software while on calls.
- Communicate effectively with callers using proper business English.
- Sit for extended periods while managing high call volumes.
- Participate in in-person training during the first week, then follow a hybrid schedule.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
- 1+ year of call center experience.
- Typing speed of at least 45 WPM.
- Experience with CRM software.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and problem resolution.
- Ability to maintain professional demeanor under stress.
- Are local to Phoenix, AZ, and able to attend in-person interviews within 1 week of posting close.
- Available to start on 02/02/2026.
Preferred Skills:
- De-escalation skills.
- Familiarity with Google Suite.
- Knowledge of Arizona Barbering and Cosmetology statutes and regulations.
