Job Title: Electronic Circuitry/Parts Assembler I – Electronics Assembler
Location: Tucson, AZ 85745
Pay: $16/hour
Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm
Schedule
- Training: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1 to 2 weeks)
- Post-Training: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Overtime: Offered and voluntary
Job Responsibilities
- Perform assembly operations for electronic components
- Prepare wires for assembly (cutting wire to length, stripping insulation, tinning wire ends)
- Cut shrink wrap tubing to correct length
- Solder wires and electronic assemblies
- Conduct post-assembly electrical testing
- Mix epoxy and glue covers to assembled products
Qualifications & Skills
- Task oriented and detail-focused
- Prior assembly and/or soldering experience preferred, but not required; skills training provided for inexperienced candidates
- Basic math skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to read and understand test documents
- Basic knowledge of electronics
- Capable of lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally to shoulder level
- Basic soldering operations
- Team player with good attendance and punctuality
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass a drug test (does not test for marijuana)
- Must successfully complete a 7-year criminal background check (must be cleared before start date)
Dress Code
- Casual: T-shirts and jeans are acceptable
- Work boots are not required
