Kelly has partnered with a leading manufacturing company who is looking for a temporary Inventory Control Specialist. 

  • Pay: $22-23/hour based on experience 

Job details:

  • Prepare customer shipments using various commercial wrapping and packing materials

  • Verify product, quantity, and quality of items to be shipped

  • Measure and weigh products accurately using a scale and calculator; record weights as needed

  • Use wrapping paper, moisture-proof bags, tape, sealing equipment, and other packing supplies

  • Package and prepare goods to ensure adequate protection during shipment

  • Perform various types of packaging and labeling based on guidelines

  • Inspect chains to be bagged and labeled, ensuring product quality

  • Count and verify quantities of items: attention to detail is critical

  • Move materials to and from the shipping area as required

  • Maintain accuracy in records and documentation related to shipments

  • Support and collaborate with team members; may be assigned to multiple areas

Skills & Requirements:

  • Previous shipping/packing or warehouse and  worked using cycle counting

  • Familiarity with various packing materials and shipping protocols

  • Proficient in basic math; able to use calculator and scale confidently

  • Ability to perform inspections and follow detailed packing instructions

  • Strong attention to detail, especially when counting and labeling items

  • Must be able to stand, move, bend, and handle physical workload
