Pay Range: $26.50–$29.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent with benefits

Position Summary
Under the direction of the Quality Manager or a Senior Technician, the Quality and Compliance Technician I is responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and improving the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring ongoing product and process compliance. This role supports manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams while serving as a key resource for quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Inspection

Own incoming inspection of parts and assemblies as needed and conduct periodic outgoing inspections

Perform inspections required for ECOs and special product builds

Develop and maintain CMM programs with engineering guidance (Keyence experience preferred)

Own inspection flags and calibration programs (GageTrack, internal calibration)

Audit PCBA inspections, solder joint quality, cleanliness, cable assemblies, enclosures, and power supplies against engineering drawings
Compliance & Auditing

Own EU compliance regulations and customer compliance requests

Support ISO audit preparation, scheduling, and execution

Resolve audit findings and perform periodic control checks

Conduct annual compliance assessments with process owners

Assist with supplier qualification, auditing, and risk assessments
Quality Systems & Documentation

Manage document control for QMS, EHS, and compliance documentation

Create and maintain work instructions and validate revisions

Fulfill documentation and reporting requirements for the Quality Management Program

Own QMS metrics and support management review meetings
-
Maintain EHS document directories and audit protocol application
Continuous Improvement
-
Participate in and support Kaizen events led by Quality or Engineering

Serve as a quality assurance resource for supervisors and managers

Assist production leadership with manufacturing continuous improvement initiatives

Support chemical process controls and audit protocol application
Qualifications
Required
-
Associate’s Degree and/or equivalent experience
-
1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
-
Experience developing and documenting procedures
-
Knowledge of ISO Quality Management System requirements

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and documentation
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines
Preferred

Experience with CMM equipment (Keyence preferred)

Experience with supplier audits, compliance assessments, and risk analysis
