Salary range: $80,000-$95,000/year
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7AM-4:30PM
Location: Foxborough, MA
Duration: Permanent, full time position with benefits that start day 1

What’s a typical day as NPI Manufacturing Engineer? You’ll be:
- Leading the introduction of new wire and cable assembly products into manufacturing, ensuring smooth transitions from prototype to full production
- Collaborating with design, quality, and supply chain teams to develop scalable and manufacturable wire harnesses and cable assemblies
- Developing and executing validation and qualification plans for new processes and equipment
- Establishing process flows, work instructions, and documentation for new products
- Implementing and improving manufacturing processes for wire cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and connector assembly
- Conducting FMEA to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Defining and refining SOPs and work instructions for consistent production quality
- Supporting production teams, troubleshooting process issues, and implementing corrective actions
- Optimizing factory layout, workflow, and ergonomics to improve efficiency
- Driving lean manufacturing initiatives and identifying automation opportunities
- Analyzing manufacturing costs and proposing cost-saving initiatives
- Coordinating with customers and internal teams to meet design specs and ensure readiness
- Providing manufacturability feedback during design reviews
- Ensuring compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620, UL, ISO, and other regulatory standards
- Supporting audits, monitoring KPIs, and maintaining project documentation
- Presenting technical information, assisting on larger projects, and recommending process/policy improvements
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering OR equivalent work-related experience
- Bring experience with NPI, production ramp-up, and project lifecycle management
- Demonstrate strong communication, email etiquette, and customer service skills
- Possess technical project management skills and experience with harness products
- Are knowledgeable in lean manufacturing and familiar with IPC standards
- Excel at working with vendors, customers, and cross-functional internal teams
