Location: Kent, WA
Pay Rate: $21.75 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
The Packaging Specialist (Production Specialist) works across multiple positions on the production line, including Slide Operator, Pouch Placer, Boxer, Bread Layer, and Bulk Packer. This role supports efficient, safe, and high-quality food packaging operations while adhering to all food safety and manufacturing standards.
Essential Functions

Rotate between all Production Specialist positions as needed

Count products being stacked into layers within boxes
-
Stack products on conveyor lines while monitoring product flow and quality
-
Remove product from conveyor lines and stack into assembled boxes
-
Monitor conveyor lines from freezer through slide while performing quality checks
-
Monitor metal detector operations to ensure Critical Control Points (CCPs) are met per HACCP standards
-
Stack loaded boxes onto pallets for transport
-
Push loaded boxes through taping machines
-
Operate cartoner equipment and offbeat loaded boxes for shipment
-
Load finished boxes onto incline conveyors
-
Change codes on taper, hand stamp, and cartoner equipment

Maintain compliance with food safety (SQF), GMP, and safety standards at all times

Report food safety concerns to authorized personnel immediately

Maintain timely and regular attendance
-
Work overtime as required

Perform other production-related duties as assigned

Additional Requirements

Must be free of communicable foodborne illnesses (e.g., Hepatitis A, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus)

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

Must follow all company attendance and safety policies
