Job Opening: Entry-Level CNC Machine Operator
Shifts: 2nd & 3rd (Evenings/Nights)
Pay: $18–$21 per hour
Location:
- Training (first 6 months): West Chicago, IL
- Permanent location (starting Summer 2026): Northbrook, IL
About the Role
We are looking for motivated, detail?oriented Entry-Level CNC Machine Operators to join our growing manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to begin a career in machining, manufacturing, or industrial production. Full training is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machinery to manufacture and inspect components
- Follow blueprints, work instructions, and established quality standards
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using basic measuring tools
- Record production and inspection data; maintain accurate documentation
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and aligned with 5S practices
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with daily production tracking and traceability requirements
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Preferred (but not required):
- Prior manufacturing, machining, or mechanical experience
- Familiarity with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Basic understanding of blueprint reading
